Methow Dog didn't start as a business, it started as a fun website for our dogs; a way to communicate the joy that our dogs bring into our lives, along with our love of the Methow Valley. We want to offer our dogs, like any valued member of our family, the very best we can. When it came time to select their diet, there are a lot of different quality foods and treats out there on the market.  That’s why we started producing our own line of healthy dog treats. They’re made with high-quality, all natural, human-grade ingredients, grown and manufactured in the Northwest. We intend to partner with organic growers and producers, many in Washington’s beautiful Methow Valley in the North Cascades, to offer premium products for your pet that reflect our love of animals and our values of high-quality and sustainability.

Welcome to the Methow Valley

Located on the eastern edge of the North Cascades of Washington state, the beautiful Methow Valley (say “Met-how”) includes the communities of Mazama, Winthrop, Twisp, Carlton and Methow. Known for its isolated and unspoiled beauty, it spans some 50 miles from Pateros to the northern most edge of the Cascades. 

The Methow Valley, which still retains its roots in ranching, now offers year round recreation in a dry mountain climate and over 300 ‘sun days’ a year for a diverse mix of lifestyle activities.  Thanks to the Methow Valley Sports Trail Association (MVSTA) which maintains an incredible trail system that covers over 200 km, the valley is home to world-class cross-country skiing in the winter and mountain biking, horseback riding and hiking in the summer.  Seasonal hunting, fly fishing, horse packing, river rafting and wildlife viewing, round out the recreational opportunities for people and dogs alike. 

The valley is a special place where a dog can be a dog; work hard, play hard and experience wildlife, exciting smells, sounds, sights, country living, get dirty, get clean, enjoy the freedom of wide open spaces… and have fun the way only a Methow Dog can!

We want the very best for our animals and yours.  Our mission is to make the healthiest and best-tasting treats possible for your best four-legged friend.  Our treats are handmade and packed in Washington state with locally sourced, American, human-grade ingredients. Our treats don’t contain corn, soy or wheat – all of which can cause allergies in pets. No dyes, chemicals or anything artificial. Ever!
